How do I retrieve my password?
To retrieve your password, click on the "Forgot your password?" link in the Sign In box, this will take you to a screen to enter your email or username. Once you have entered the information, you will promptly receive an email containing your password.
What type of photos can I upload?
When uploading photos to your profile, your files should be in a JPEG format, under 3MB in size. If you have a photo that does not fit into these parameters, feel free to send your photo to customerService@DownToEarth.com and we will upload it for you. We are working to accept more file formats, and we will let you know once they are available.
Why was my friend removed?
Users can be removed for any violation of our terms of use. They can be removed for being rude, for posting inappropriate photos, or for (most commonly) creating fake accounts in order to attempt to scam one or more of our members.
We don't provide information about any of our users (removed or not), but you can rest assured that if someone was removed, the account was thoroughly investigated and the proper measures were taken.
Why is the site running so slow for me?
The problem could come from using Internet Explorer 6. If you upgrade to Internet Explorer 7, you'll find that this site and many others work much better. You can do so by going to http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx.
It will automatically install if you do the "Get Internet Explorer 7 for your operating system" near the bottom left of the page. Let us know if this doesn't fix your issues.
I got rated although I haven’t met anyone in person. What can I do about this?
